The Urban Zone (UZ) airs every Sundays on its new time slot at 1:00 am, also on Channel 2, with replays in five (5) regions (US and Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia) at The Filipino Channel (TFC). It is mainly about the ultimate pinoy dream: ang magkaroon ng sariling bahay.
But UZ is not just a home show: by tying the home to the community and the larger urban setting, the show reaches out to the pinoys who don’t just want a shiny new house but a better place to live in.
UZ thus brings the pinoy dream closer to home with stories, features, and information about homes and housing, design/ interiors and on the ever-expanding urban landscape.
Program hosts is Daphne Osena, television host, magazine editor, style icon, entrepreneur.
UZ provides viewers with fresh concepts on land or property development, celebrity homes and stylish interiors, budget solutions or home improvement strategies, new trends on pinoy home design, dream makeovers for lucky viewers, the latest on home technology, issues and challenges on urban planning and many more.
hi, UZ! i so agree with Mr. Ramon Canso. i’m a student and I can barely watch your show, no matter how hard i try. i would have loved to watch every episode because the show itself is creative, informative and sophisticated. sadly, the time slot is so unfavorable with students like me. but i wouldn’t wish your episode be transferred to earlier time in ABS-channel 2. it would only make the show common–most likely lose it’s classiness, mixed with “common” tv shows.

Bayan Prod shows must be transferred to a morning or afternoon timeslot since all Bayan Prod shows are amazingly good. Hope you can feature more exciting thrills for Trip na Trip, more glamorous and preppy pads, condo units and featured house in your show and more business opportunities for the Kabuhayang Swak na Swak. Hi Daphne, your show is really fantastic, very informative and highly educational. I wonder why you are not putting your episodes in a DVD so even for a nominal fee, we can buy them for our future reference when designing or even thinking of building another house. Because of so many ideas you have featured, we are at lost now which one is best suited to our taste and budget of course. Episodes on DVD which can be available in your authorized outlets will be a great help.

Hi, your show has inspired me to have a house of my home and Daphne is such a beautiful host. now, i have acquired a low-cost housing thru pag-ibig but have not moving in yet because its still all bare… there’s still a lot of things to do with the interiors (tiles, paints, partitions, etc.) but has zero budget for it for now… i do hope you will have a raffle or promo for a free house improvement and i get to win… praying hard for this wish to be granted…

I got only one query. How can I ask for advice about the improvment of my house in the province and how much it will cost to hire an expert for consultation.My house is the province, this is also one of my hesitation to contact your show because mostly you are featuring houses in the urban zone, metro manila and it seems that the house you are featuirng too, are very expensive houses.
I am just an ordinary person, dreaming to have a beautiful house, though rest assured, I am proud to call that my house is a “home”

I am sorry to find that shows like yours have been moved to unpopular time slots in favor of other shows that are even repeated several times using more convenient time slots such. This saddens me to see how those shows have “crowded out” more informative ones. There is no balance and I guess it is all about ratings reflects the declining taste of TV viewers.
